OnWay Policy

Safety Guidelines

Last updated: September 2026

1. Verify before you travel

Check the driver/passenger name, vehicle and booking details before starting. Drivers should keep required identity, licence, vehicle and insurance information current.

2. Use safe pickup points

Choose legal, visible and practical pickup/drop-off locations. Avoid creating unsafe stops or requiring drivers to use the app while moving.

3. Share trip information

Where available, users may share active trip information with a trusted contact. Live location should be used only for legitimate ride and safety purposes.

4. SOS and emergencies

The planned SOS function can create an OnWay safety alert containing ride and location information. In an immediate emergency, users should also contact the relevant local emergency service directly.

5. Report concerns

Unsafe driving, harassment, threats, suspicious items, fraud, vehicle issues or serious misconduct should be reported promptly. Users can also block another user from future matching where supported.

6. Goods safety

Drivers should not accept a parcel that is suspicious, improperly described, unsafe, illegal, leaking, damaged or outside configured limits.
